What are your goals?
I will conduct a thorough initial review of your financial requirements and life goals. Crucially, I will then compare these to your actual financial affairs, consolidating your various advisers and assets, to establish that these are being addressed appropriately. I am here to ensure that the left hand and the right hand are working together for your benefit rather than operating completely independently (which unfortunately is often the case).
For clients new to the investment world, I can assist in the selection of wealth managers that will meet your needs.
Meeting Attendance
I will join you at all of your meetings with your financial advisers, ensuring that you fully understand how they are operating on your behalf. I am there to decipher any confusing aspects and ensure that you have full clarity of how your affairs are being handled.
A full meeting "debrief" will be provided, either immediately or at a later date.
I will also review performance and deal with any paperwork.
Always There
There are always reasons to feel unsettled. This could be a global situation, a market event or a voluminous amount of paperwork arriving in the post.
I will always be on hand to provide perspective and to reassure and assist as necessary.
FAMILY - I am very happy to assist and educate family members as and when necessary, ensuring that they are engaged to the level that you, my client, wishes them to be.
Overview
I will regularly summarise the varying views from major investment houses, in plain English, providing added perspective to the views of the providers that you are using.
These will accompany a summary of your existing position to keep you in touch in between meetings.
Trustees
With 30 years of experience, I am ideally placed to assist trustees of family trusts and charities, to assess the services currently being received and, when appropriate, determine whether a formal re-evaluation and selection process is necessary.
Independence
Perhaps the most important aspect of my services.
All of the assistance that I provide is completely independent. No conflicts or hidden agenda - just a determination to ensure that you are getting the very best advice from your advisers and that the advice given is completely appropriate for your needs.
